A Brief History of the Department

The Department of Zoology at Asufii Christian Institute is one of the oldest departments in the college. Since its establishment in 2010, the department has been offering B.Sc. (Honours) courses in Zoology.

The department houses one of the best well-equipped laboratories in the state. Currently, two well-qualified and experienced faculty members are dedicated to catering to the academic and professional needs of the students.

The department is wholeheartedly committed to the all-round development of students, fostering academic excellence, research orientation, and scientific curiosity.

1. Students will demonstrate a broad foundational knowledge of biological sciences.
2. Students will demonstrate proficiency in laboratory and field techniques within their area of study.
