Admission
Admission to the college is conducted in accordance with University directives and institutional ordinances.
Qualification for Admission
The college shall accept admissions based on the University admission directives, either directly, indirectly, through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET), or any other recognized means as deemed eligible.
No person shall be eligible for admission unless he/she has passed the Higher Secondary Examination of a recognized Board/Council in India or an equivalent examination recognized by the University and possesses further qualifications as prescribed under University ordinances.
- Merit-based eligibility shall be followed in the admission process.
- Candidates must collect the prospectus and application form during working hours upon payment of the prescribed fee.
- Eligible candidates must complete admission within the stipulated dates; failing which the seat may be allotted to waitlisted candidates.
- All admitted students must submit required documents at the time of admission or within two weeks, failing which admission may be forfeited.
Documents Required at the Time of Admission
- Original Transfer Certificate (TC)
- Original HSLC/HSSLC or equivalent mark sheet and Admit Card
- Original Migration Certificate (for students from other boards / councils / universities outside Manipur)
- Permanent Education Number (PEN) ID (for CBSE students)
- Academic Bank of Credit (ABC) ID (for students under NEP 2020)
- Indigenous Certificate
- ST / SC / OBC Certificate (if applicable)
- Five recent passport-size photographs
Admission Ordinances
The term “University” refers to Manipur University (MU), and “College” refers to Asufii Christian Institute (ACI).
- The College shall form an interim Admission Committee each academic session comprising faculty members, and representatives from students and alumni.
- A Standing Committee consisting of the Managing Director, Principal, Vice Principal, Dean of Students, and a Governing Board representative shall review and advise on admission matters.
- The Admission Committee shall determine admission procedures subject to approval by the Standing Committee.
- The College shall admit students under categories including General, SC, ST, OBC, Persons with Disabilities, Sports Persons of Eminence, and Children of Ex-Servicemen, subject to seat availability and DUHE Office Memorandum No. 3/123/92-EDC (20 June 2012).
- The Standing Committee may allow admission beyond the prescribed date in exceptional cases such as delayed results or official transfers, in accordance with University ordinances.
